Preventing Sexual Misconduct

Faculty & Staff (30 Minutes)

It also explains additional laws that address discrimination and harassment, including Title VII and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Both faculty and staff obtain the practical knowledge to prevent and respond to inappropriate behavior and to promote a respectful and safe campus environment.

Students (30 minutes)

Course explains students' rights and protections under Title IX and related laws. It explains the types of behaviors that may constitute sexual misconduct, and provides practical knowledge on how to respond and prevent misconduct.  Information includes bystander intervention, to help create and maintain a safe and respectful campus environment.

Faculty & Staff: Responsible Employee (40 minutes)

LGBTQ Inclusion for Managers

As the workforce continues to diversify, it's increasingly important for employers to do all they can to create supportive, respectful and inclusive work environments — including having an LGBTQ diversity and inclusion policy that is reinforced through diversity training.

Child and Family Confidentiality for Teachers

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

How to Communicate Sensitively with LGBTQ Families

As society as a whole becomes more tolerant of different lifestyles, the workplace is starting to become more tolerant, as well. Gay marriage is now allowed in several states. You may work with a man or woman who is openly and happily married to someone of the same gender. They may even have children. We will teach you how to communicate professionally and sensitively.
