Job Readiness

Job readiness training programs prepare participants to get, keep and excel at a new job. Basic employability skills include effective communication, problem solving, resume building, and interviewing. Our Job readiness training program also help participants develop good work habits that facilitate their ongoing success. Building Your Brand

Define the term Brand as it relates to a company and then how a. Brand relates to an individual; Introduce the concept that your personal brand is who you are, how people remember you and what sets you apart from everyone else; Engage students to take a deep look at themselves and inspire them to be intentional about the decisions they make.

Work Ethics

Teach students that strong work ethic is built on dedication, discipline, dependability and the ability to “do work”; Equip students with strategies that will build the habits they need to keep going, to not only get the job done, but to get it done with excellence.

Leadership/Teamwork

When people come together as a team, share a dream, and focus on reaching their goals together, there’s a very good chance they’ll accomplish what they set out to do. In this course, inspired by the Blue Angels, students learn the basic principles of teamwork that will teach them how to work together in many aspects of their lives.

Time Management

Students learn to budget their time to improve time management skills; learn how to avoid distractions that can get them off track; learn to prioritize, declutter, and create schedules.

Positive Attitude

Teach students that a positive attitude is built on gratitude, resilience, outward appearance and a good support system; Equip students with strategies that will cultivate a positive mindset when things go wrong; Teach students to understand that many times they can’t control bad things that will happen in life, but what they can have 100% control over is their attitudes.

Smart Goals

Teach students how to set both short-term and long -term goals; learn that goals must be SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-bound); learn that accountability is key to success.

Conflict Resolution

Students learn the common sources of conflict and what their key stresses are. They also learn the best strategies for approaching conflict, how to stay cool when emotions heat up and how to genuinely listen. Upon course completion, students will learn the best strategies in their “toolkit” to use in each situation they may face.
